The Cascade Difference
The Barnes family has provided top-quality senior care in the Pacific Northwest for more than 35 years. On a brisk Thanksgiving Day in 1966, owners Floyd and Pearl Barnes hand-selected the stones you see at the Cascade campus entrance. Today, they remain active in the day-to-day management of their facilities. At a time when senior care facilities are increasingly run by national corporations, this local commitment and personal involvement help define the Cascade community. The Barnes' pride of ownership and commitment to quality make Cascade Plaza and Cascade Vista a unique place where people care.

Dedicated staff
Friendships abound at Cascade Plaza between residents, families, and staff. And it's little wonder. With staff tenure averaging more than ten years and a turnover rate of less than 0.1%, the Plaza is unique among retirement communities for the care and dedication shown by employees, year after year.

Keeping couples together
At Cascade Plaza, we recognize that love is ageless. That's why we are committed to helping couples stay together even if one partner requires more assistance. Cascade's broad range of services and 24-hour licensed nursing care allow independent or assisted living with a sense of security. And because the Plaza shares its campus with Cascade Vista Convalescent Center, if a partner requires nursing home care, couples have peace of mind knowing that they will always be near each other for love and support. It's just one of the many reasons couples choose Cascade.

Our Mission
As a retirement–assisted living and convalescent care organization, we are dedicated to promoting the well-being of our residents. We recognize and respect each individual's rights, needs, and circumstances and strive to promote a supportive community that nurtures the body, mind and spirit.
